Distinguished Research Award

How to nominate

Nominations for the UW Tacoma Distinguished Research Award should be addressed to the UW Tacoma Distinguished Research Award Committee and emailed to academic@u.washington.edu no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2008.

After the nomination deadline, the nominations will be forwarded to the committee for review and the campus will be notified via e-mail regarding the nominees.

Upon final review, the Committee submits a written recommendation to the Chancellor and notification regarding the recipient will be sent via e-mail to the campus.

Nomination Requirements

  • The recipient may be self-nominated, colleague nominated or student nominated.
  • Nominations must include a one to two page description of the scholarly work or creative activity. The committee will request more detailed information from the nominee at a later time.
