Distinguished Teaching Award
Selection committee
Composition of the Distinguished Teaching Award Committee
The Committee will be comprised of:

The Chair of the Alumni Association or designee, who will serve
a one-year term;
- The President of the ASUWT or designee, who will serve a one-year
term;

The recipient of the previous year's award, who will serve a one-year
term;

A faculty member from each of four academic programs (other than
the program represented by the previous year's awardee) who is appointed
by the Program Director (thus, five programs will be represented
each year). These faculty appointees will serve a two-year term
unless someone from their program wins the Distinguished Teaching
Award during the first year of their term.
If a member of the committee is nominated for the award, that person must withdraw from further participation in the committee for that year and the Director from the Program involved will appoint a replacement.
