Graduation Requirements

To qualify for graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington, Tacoma, a student must:

• Be a matriculated Business student in good academic standing with the University of Washington, Tacoma and the Milgard School of Business.
• Satisfy all of the prerequisites for entrance into Milgard School of Business.
• Satisfy all of the general University requirements for graduation.
• Complete all of the required and elective courses in the Business major.
• Complete 180 credits.
• Complete 5 of the 7 required Business core and capstone courses, to include TBUS 300 and TBUS 400 in residence at UW Tacoma.
• Complete 5 of the 6 option courses in residence at UW Tacoma.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average in all classes and a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average in all business classes.
• Complete 45 of the last 60 credits in residence at the University of Washington, Tacoma.
• Apply for graduation with a Business School adviser by the application deadline posted by Business for the expected date of graduation.
