Parking on campus

There are five pay parking lots on campus:

C Street at 21st
Entrance on C St. Priced for short-term parking. Also known as the Cragle lot.
21st and Jefferson
Entrances on 21st St and Jefferson Ave
Market at 19th
Entrance on Market Street.
19th between Market and Fawcett
Entrance on 19th Street.
Court 17 garage
Enter from Court C.

There are also nearby pay parking lots on Pacific Avenue next to the Washington State History Museum and at Broadway and 17th next to the Tacoma Convention Center.

Time-limited street parking is available along Pacific Avenue, Jefferson Avenue and Broadway. All-day street parking is available on Market Street, Fawcett Avenue and 17th Street.

Free parking is available at the Tacoma Dome Transit Station Garage. This garage fills up early, so finding a space in the middle of the day can be difficult. Learn more about riding the Link to campus.

Parking tips:

  • Street parking on Pacific and Jefferson Avenues is limited to one or two hours. These time limits are strictly enforced.
  • The parking lot at C Street and 21st is intended for short-term parking. If you are going to be on campus less than five hours, this is the best deal. All-day parking is not an option in this lot.

Disabled parking spaces

Parking for drivers with disability permits is available in all of the pay parking lots as well as on Dolly Roberson Lane behind the Cherry Parkes Building and in the small parking area behind the Dougan Building. Learn more about physical access on campus.
