At UW Tacoma, everything and everybody is on the move. The light-rail Link rolls by in front of campus as students gather between classes to sip lattés and discuss ideas.

The environment here is dynamic, in part because of downtown Tacoma's renaissance, in part because of the energy of minds at work. A sense of unlimited possibility for success permeates the campus. You can become part of it.

When you're not in class or hooking up with a student group, you can hang out in cafes, diversify your CD collection or see some art—all without leaving campus. The oUWTpost student center is a place to gather, eat, play pool or win at foosball. If you're feeling less social, curl up in one of the many quiet nooks throughout campus to read or fire up your laptop.

Set in an artfully restored warehouse district, UW Tacoma is urban enough to offer funky hang outs, serious enough to give you a world-class education, and small enough that you'll feel at home.
