Welcome to the Cashier's Office

The UW Tacoma Cashier’s office is pleased to announce that we can now accept debit and credit cards for certain transactions. The office is authorized to process payments from cards containing a Visa or MasterCard logo only for the following types of items:

• UW Tacoma U-Pass
• Parking permits
• Parking fines
• $50 New and Returning Student Application Fee (excluding the $100 Freshman/Transfer Enrollment Confirmation Fee)

Unfortunately, university policy does not permit the acceptance of in-person or phone debit/credit card payments for tuition or related charges (any fees posted to a student account) such as:

• Tuition
• $100 Freshman/Transfer Enrollment Confirmation Fee
• Late Payment Fees
• Transcript Requests
• Short-term Loans

To pay such fees with a debit or credit card, the student must sign into MyUW via the link below:
http://myuw.washington.edu/

click on your tuition charge statement and select the "Credit Card Payment" option. A convenience fee applies to these transactions.

Tuition and Related fees can also be paid directly from a checking or savings account at no charge by selecting the “Web Check” option.
