U-PassLate Payments
If tuition is not paid by the due date, you will be assessed a late payment fee based on the amount of your outstanding balance.
The fee schedule is shown in the following table:

| $250 and above | $120 |
| $50 - $249.99 | $50 |
| $49.99 and below | No late charge |
You may petition late payment charges through the Office of Enrollment Services located on the first floor of the GWP building if you feel the fee was charged in error. Your petition will be approved or denied based on the circumstances.

If you have not paid your outstanding balance by the end of the late payment period, a hold may be placed on your academic records.
Short-Term Loan
Students who are unable to remit payment in full for their tuition by the due date might consider applying for a short-term loan.

Once you are logged in select the "Short-Term Loan" option listed under "Student Personal Services". You may also contact the UW Tacoma Financial Aid office at (253) 692-4400 with questions.
