Tuition Payment Plan

The Tuition Payment Plan allows students to pay their quarterly tuition in three installments. There is a $10 service fee for participating that is due with the first payment.

The completed form accompanied by the first payment must be received no later than 5 p.m. on the first Friday of the quarter in order to be accepted into the plan; postmarks will not be accepted.

Payments may be made by cash, check or money order only. All payments must be processed by the UW Tacoma Cashier's office; do not send payment plan payments to the UW Seattle campus.

How to enroll and make your payments

To enroll in the Tuition Payment Plan, complete the enrollment form and submit it with your first payment. You may submit the form and all payments either:

  • In person at the UW Tacoma Cashier’s Office by 3:00 p.m. on the due date,
  • In the after-hours drop box on the 3rd floor of the Mattress Factory building by 5:00 p.m. on the due date, or
  • By mail to be received no later than the due date (postmarks will not be accepted).

The due dates for the three payments are always the first, third and fifth Fridays of the quarter. If the initial payment isn't received by the deadline you will not be accepted into the program. The remaining two payments are each subject to a $55 late fee if they are not received on time.

It is important that you keep a record of your payments and when they are due—we are not able to send out reminders.
