Charity Fair & Food Drive

Now through November 29, UW Tacoma staff and faculty may enroll in the UW Combined Fund Drive to give to one or more of 3,800 local, national and global charities registered with the campaign. Many of these charitable organizations will participate in UW Tacoma's annual Charity Fair & Food Drive on 10/16/13. Staff and faculty are invited to meet with representatives from local charities who are part of the 2013 Combined Fund Drive, to learn about the services they provide within our community. Door prizes will be drawn throughout the event. Staff will be on hand to assist you with making your charitable contribution to UW Tacoma scholarships and programs. The Charity Fair is in conjunction with Volunteer Services. Students are invited to attend and learn about various service learning opportunities, internships, job shadows, and potential future employment.

Your Choice Wine Drawing

How: Purchase tickets for the Wine Drawing at the Soup Social, November 20th, or from a participating CFD Coordinator.
Ticket Pricing: One (1) drawing ticket $5.00 or Five (5) drawing tickets $20.00 (a $5.00 savings!)
Drawing Information: On December 4, 2013 a ticket will be drawn every one-half hour and the person with the drawn ticket will be contacted. They will be invited to come to MAT 253H to select one bottle of wine. Every one-half hour thereafter another ticket will be drawn until all bottles of wine are distributed to drawing winners.

Each dollar raised will go directly to the UW Tacoma Student Scholarship Fund.

***Special Condition: A valid ID must be presented when picking up the wine, and claimant must be 21 years of age or older.
