Phases in the Process
- Requestor submits Space Reservation.
- The process does not progress until the requestor checks in the request.
- When the initial check in occurs, an email is sent to the scheduler.
- If space is available, it is scheduled.
- If space is not available, the scheduler communicates with the requestor until a suitable space is found.
- When the scheduler marks the request as “Scheduled,” an email is sent to each required support department.
- Each support department reviews and acknowledges the request.
- If there are no problems, the support department will approve the event.
- If there are problems, the support department will communicate with the requestor until a suitable arrangement is reached.
- When all required support departments have reviewed the request, an email is sent to the required director for approval.
- If the director sees no problems, he or she will approve the event.
- If the director finds problems, he or she will deny the event, noting the reason for the denial.
- After all groups (scheduler, support departments, and director) have reviewed the event, an email will be sent to the requestor. The requestor will go to the Space Reservation site and review the results.
- Optional: If needed, the requestor can change his or her request by editing the form without submitting a new request.
