What documents belong on the UWT web server?

www.tacoma.washington.edu is the web server that hosts the UWT Home Page and a set of Web pages about UWT and services available to the UWT community. The kind of documents that should have the standard look and feel of the UWT Home Page include:

  • Summary information about the university as a whole
  • Policies and procedures for UWT students (prospective and current), UWT faculty, and UWT staff. This is information that:
    • helps faculty and staff get their work done
    • informs students about the admission process, tuition expenses, registration, life at the UWT, degree programs and more
  • Administrative and support services available to the UWT community
  • Academic programs
  • Campus events
  • Information and services provided for the public
