EMBRACE Council
The EMBRACE Council serves as an umbrella entity that enables student organizations to work together on projects and initiatives that promote cross-cultural awareness and dialogue. The Council will also enable students to learn about the organizational opportunities available to them such as student unions, clubs and student-led organizations. A major project of the Council will be to organize the UW Tacoma Multicultural Week, to be held in Spring quarter.
Students can join the Council as representatives of their current student organization, or utilize it as a gateway to the student organizations that they may choose to affiliate with in the future. Standing Council members will include the ASUWT Multicultural Affairs chair, and the Student Activities Board Director of Social Issues.
For more information about how to get involved with the EMBRACE Council, please contact Wil Johnson at wilj@u.washington.edu.
