Applications for Autumn 2010 are currently being accepted. Students are encouraged to apply early. Several events are planned to help you learn more about UW Tacoma and to tour the campus, including Husky Days and Campus Open Houses described below.
The deadline for admission for Winter Quarter 2010 has passed. Applications are still being accepted for the following degree programs only:
The University of Washington Tacoma is experiencing extremely high enrollment. While we are pleased to be the education choice for many students, space will be very limited and competitive for Spring Quarter 2010. This applies to admission to the University of Washington Tacoma as well as to individual majors. Consideration will be given to transfer students whose applications demonstrate they have completed all qualifications for admission to their requested major. Students are encouraged to meet with an admissions adviser before submitting their application.
Please note that not all degree programs admit students in Spring quarter.
Washington state residents who earn an approved transfer degree from a Washington state community college are eligible for guaranteed general admission under UW Tacoma's Guaranteed Admission through the Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) policy. Guaranteed Admission for these applicants is dependent on their meeting specific GPA and other admission requirements of this policy, and is subject to available space at UW Tacoma. In the event that space is not available, students eligible for Guaranteed Admission will be admitted for a future quarter as designated by the Office of Admissions.
Going to be a senior in high school this fall? Save the date for one of our Husky Days to experience UW Tacoma firsthand: November 7 and December 5. Freshmen, transfer and graduate students are all welcome at our monthly Campus Open House — held on the third Thursday of every month from 4 - 6:30 p.m. — where you can talk to an adviser, take a campus tour and explore all the majors UW Tacoma has to offer.
