Paying for college

A college education is a solid investment in your future. Although college can be expensive, the personal and economic benefits of a college degree far outweigh the costs.

Many scholarships are available to UW Tacoma students based on merit and need. UW Tacoma's Office of Student Financial Aid can help you find ways to supplement your funds and pay for your education.

To be considered for any type of financial aid, including scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. The FAFSA can be completed at any time, but for priority consideration you should make sure to complete it by February 28. After this date, UW Tacoma's Office of Student Financial Aid will strive to ensure students receive aid commensurate with their need.

UW school code: 003798
