Summer Quarter Aid

May 15 was the priority deadline for summer aid, however you can still apply to receive aid for summer quarter. You must complete a 2009-2010 FAFSA listing the UW school code and the supplemental summer aid request in order to be considered. We will do our best to fund your summer quarter however, if you are applying at this time we can not guarantee the funds will be available prior to tuition due date. Please note: Summer quarter is the same as the regular year in regards to financial aid enrollment requirements.

A college education is a solid investment in your future. Although college can be expensive, the personal and economic benefits of a college degree far outweigh the costs.

Many scholarships are available to UW Tacoma students based on merit and need. UW Tacoma's Financial Aid Office can help you find ways to supplement your funds and pay for your education.

To be considered for any type of financial aid, including scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. The FAFSA can be completed at any time, but for priority consideration you should make sure to complete it by February 28. After this date, for students applying for Autumn 2009, UW Tacoma's Financial Aid Office will strive to ensure students receive aid commensurate with their need.
