UW Tacoma has received a record number of freshman applications for Autumn Quarter 2009. Applications submitted by the March 1 priority application date are being processed. For those still interested in submitting an application, a few seats for freshmen may still be available. Once the freshman class is full, a selective waitlist of qualified students will be maintained, possibly through mid-summer, in case seats are made available.
You are encouraged to turn in your application as early as possible to ensure that you receive priority consideration for admission and scholarships. Applications received after the priority application date will be considered on a space-available basis. A complete application includes all forms, essays and transcripts. Also, for financial aid consideration, your FAFSA should be submitted by February 28.
