Applying online as an international student

Welcome to the University of Washington Tacoma's online application for transfer students. This process requires three steps.

1. Create an account

Creating an account allows you to begin the UW Tacoma online application and to apply to other colleges that subscribe to CollegeNET services. You will only provide name and contact information and this information will not be shared with colleges until after you have applied. Even after you create an account, there is no obligation to finish an application if you ultimately decide not to apply. You do not pay the application fee until you are ready to submit your application.

Note: If you have already established an account with CollegeNET by applying to another college, you can skip this step.

2. Complete your application

As soon as you have created an account, you can begin filling out the application. Once you've finished the application, you can submit it—as soon as you pay the $50 nonrefundable application fee. The application fee must be paid over a secure connection using a credit card or electronic check.

3. Submit any additional materials required

You also need to submit supplemental forms as part of your application. These include the Statement of Responsibility form and the Transfer Verification Form. The degree program may also have additional forms to complete; these should be submitted directly to the program:
