Cyber Resiliency
Tuesday, May 23, 2017

Cyber Resiliency is as much about reducing risk in a proactive sense as it is about developing the organizational skills and capabilities to respond to unexpected events after they have occurred. The first dimension of cyber resiliency speaks to how through technologies, policies and practices, an organization can predict and prevent cyber attacks and incidents before damage is done.  The second dimension of cyber resiliency manifests most obviously after an attack has occurred and refers to organization’s ability to cope, respond and bounce back. Building the organizational skills, culture and values that enable individuals to work together in crisis situations is inherently a management task, rather than a technical one.
