Learning Outcomes

Global Honors students will:

  1. Demonstrate deep engagement with international history, culture, and contemporary challenges, in the core courses; understand connections between the local and the global, in Global Honors coursework and capstone projects
  2. Present their learning experiences from study abroad to the UWT community
  3. Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary perspectives and synthesis in completing a senior capstone project, and thus be better prepared for graduate studies and/or careers
  4. Demonstrate enhanced skills in research, critical thinking, writing, working cooperatively, and oral communication
  5. Articulate their interpretation of global citizenship through a reflection essay
  6. Enrich their studies in their majors, with a broad interdisciplinary and international academic curriculum and study abroad experience that emphasizes interconnectedness
