Meet Patrick Fuhrman
"While trying to take course work that will better and broaden my university experience, I also want to make sure that I am challenged and stretched so as to be prepared for anything that may lie ahead. One of the requirements for the Global Honors Program is studying abroad, and I see this as an opportunity to be pushed out of my Northwestern United States comfort zone. I am going to major in Urban Studies and minor in business, and I hope to use the broad scope of knowledge and skills as a springboard to getting into law school. As a part of the Urban Studies major, I will fulfill the study abroad component of the Global Honors Program by going to Holland and one other major European city in the summer of '09."
