Study Abroad

Earn UWT credit & use Financial Aid and Scholarships Abroad

Rachel with Peruvian kids Although not required, Global Honors students are strongly encouraged to participate in a study-abroad experience as part of the program. This experience opens intellectual and personal doors and is central to the kind of global understanding that is the foundation of the Global Honors Program at UW Tacoma.

Students may choose to go abroad for as little as three weeks (the minimum required for those choosing study abroad) or for an entire quarter or more. Students who study abroad are required to share their study abroad experience at the Global Honors event in the fall.
