Thesis
The undergraduate Global Honors thesis option thesis must be based on rigorous, significant research. It allows you to explore a topic that interests you deeply, to undertake sustained research and thought about the topic, and to generate and contribute knowledge about it. If you are completing a senior thesis in your academic major, you may use that work to satisfy the Global Honors thesis requirement, as long as the work conforms to the Global Honors Program requirements and standards of excellence. Most students choose to do their thesis on a topic in their academic major. Students who wish to pursue graduate studies should strongly consider this option.
Students must take 4 credits of Thesis in order to have faculty guidance on the research and writing process and 1 credit of Thesis Symposium.
