Thesis Description and Requirements
T GH 494 (4 credits)
Your thesis
- is defined as an essay based on research and analysis.
- must be international in scope (at least 60% of it must concern a country or countries other than the U.S.)
- should draw from an idea or ideas raised in Global Honors seminars
- must be at least 20 pages in length (more than 40 pages is not recommended)
Your thesis is considered complete once you have
- given a public presentation of your work at the Spring Global Honors Research Colloquium
- earned at least a 3.5 on the paper and obtained final approval signatures from your faculty adviser and the director of the Global Honors program
- turned in your final, signed and bound, copy of your thesis to the Global Honors office
The thesis is due by the Friday before final exam week of the quarter in which you plan to graduate.
