PP&E Degree Requirements

Learn more about PP&E

The Politics, Philosophy, and Economics concentration integrates the three disciplines of Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics and includes elements of Law. PP&E provides students with an in-depth interdisciplinary foundation in the analysis of politics and economics, and in the study of philosophical and ethical issues related to political, economic, and public policy issues. Special emphasis is placed on developing students' critical thinking and writing skills. PP&E students specialize in one of three tracks: Politics and Philosophy, Economics, or Law and Policy. PP&E students will also soon have the option of graduating with honors.

All PP&E students take 4 core classes, a methods class, and participate in a capstone class. They also must take 6 additional PP&E classes, as outlined below.
