How to Apply to the Environmental Program

Applying for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program is a two-part process requiring application to the University and submission of required supplemental materials.

  1. Get a Copy of the Application Instructions: Print out a copy of the IAS B.S. Application Kit with detailed instructions on how to apply and a form for requesting transcripts.

  2. Apply to the University of Washington Tacoma: Depending on your student status, the application form and process may vary:

New Students: New students must complete an Application for Transfer Admission.

Returning UW Tacoma Students: If you were previously enrolled at UW Tacoma, submit a Returning Student Application.

International Students: Use the Application for Transfer Admission. You must also comply with the international student undergraduate admissions requirements.

  Plan Ahead  

Before you begin, verify the quarters in which new applications are accepted. Be sure to submit your application before the listed application deadline to ensure consideration:

Application Deadlines:

  • Autumn: April 15
  • Winter: October 15
