Information for students who declared Ed Minor before January 3, 2006

The UWT Teacher Certification Program is changing. As of January 3, 2006, TEDUC 471 Diversity and Equity in Schools and Curriculum and TEDUC 482 Schools in American Society, two of the three education core courses required for the IAS Education Minor, will NO LONGER fulfill requirements in the UWT Teacher Certification with Master of Education program. The minor requirements stay the same.

UWT students must have declared the IAS Education Minor before January 3, 2006 in order to have counted these two courses toward fulfilling requirements in the Teacher Certification Program. Summer quarter 2006 will be the last Teacher Certification program admission period for which TEDUC 471 and TEDUC 482 will fulfill program requirements.

See Teacher Certification Program for more details. Please note that students must have earned a minimum of 90 credit hours in order to declare a minor.
