Greetings from Dr. Katti, Dean of the Institute

Welcome to the Institute of Technology at UW Tacoma.  Established in 2001, the Institute of Technology has a strong tradition of offering excellent programs while providing student support through small class sizes.  The class sizes in the Institute of Technology average around 30 students per course.  The diverse student body consists of approximately 640 undergraduates and 160 graduate students with a demographic makeup of that population at around 35% Caucasian, 65% Asian, Hispanic, African American, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or American Indian.   Currently 21% of our students are women and 18% are underrepresented minorities. More>
