2011 Operational Performance Dashboard:

This report prepared by the University of Washington Student Fiscal Services, provides data and charts on several areas of its operation including customer satisfaction, customer outreach, tuition collection, the scholarship process, and staff satisfaction; with definitions and analysis.

UW Tacoma Campus Life Facilities Master Plan:PDF document icon

This master plan is the result of a project conducted by the firm Brailsford & Dunlavey in the spring of 2008 as a comprehensive study of future UW Tacoma student life facility needs. Recommendations for short-term and long-term strategies are provided for developing student life facilities to meet the needs of 10,000 FTE.

University of Washington Tacoma Foundations of Excellence Report:PDF document icon

In 2006, UW Tacoma welcomed its first freshman class. This 2009 document evaluates UW Tacoma's first year program in its third year of operation. Using the Foundations of Excellence program, a year-long, comprehensive program evaluation was begun in fall 2008 In this report, project goals are reviewed to ascertain ways to enhance the educational experience of our first year students.

University of Washington Peer Comparisons:

There are three peer comparison groups used by the University of Washington. They are known as the Global Challenge Peer State Institutions, the Higher Education Coordinating Board Peer Group (HECB Peer Group) and the Office of Financial Management Peer Group (OFM Peer Group). These web pages include a list of peer institutions and reports detailing funding per FTE, faculty salaries, and faculty salaries by department.

This third edition of the report focuses on the monetary and non monetary benefits of higher educationto the individual and society. The report details evidence of these benefits and discusses the implications of the "uneven" access to higher education by different segments of the population. The analysis of data is presented in charts and graphs and covers income, employment, labor markets, social and public assistance programs among other topics.

The Lumina Foundation for Education

Increasing completion rates in higher education continues to be a key factor in higher education attainment, according to this latest Lumina Foundation report. The "Big Goal" is to increase college degree completion numbers by an additional 23 million. Meeting that goal includes increasing access, for traditional and underrepresented students as well as those in the workforce returning to complete degrees. This report discusses higher education as it relates to jobs and economic recovery among other topics on a state-by-state basis.
