Research Support

We provide computer and media technologies to support all the research activities at UWT. Not only do we help researchers to set up software and hardware required for such activities as statistical analysis, we also have professional media production facilities to produce multimedia products related to the research activities. We have assisted various grant projects to produce award winning video programs. Furthermore, researchers could design their conference presentation materials using the photo copy stands and equipment in the multimedia lab or contract Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology to produce professional level works for their projects.

We have participated in writing grant proposals to outline the overall technologies requirement and detail hardware and software necessary for the research projects. We frequently engaged in research and development activities to find the suitable and state of the arts equipment for researchers. In the Innovative Technology Lab, for example, several laptops and tablet PC are on display for researchers who have to use portable equipment to work away from the campus.
