Digital Image Collections: Maps
- David Rumsey Map Collection - Contains over 11,000 maps, focusing on rare 18th and 19th century North and South America maps and other cartographic materials. Historic maps of the World, Europe, Asia and Africa are also represented.
- Department of Ecology Shoreline Photos - Contains oblique aerial photographs taken between 1992 and 1997 of Washington State's 2500 miles of marine shoreline.
- Early Washington Maps: A Digital Collection - A collaboration between Washington State University and the University of Washington Libraries, this collection contains maps spanning 300 years and documents many historical events, from David Thompson's navigation of the Columbia River to the boundary dispute that resulted in the naming of the 49th parallel as the northern border of the U.S.
- Geodata.gov U.S. maps & data - Provides public access to map images, map services, geographic datasets, geographic activities, spatial solutions, clearing houses, and land references, as provided by government, commercial, and noncommercial organizations.
- GIS Maps at the Washington State Department of Ecology - Contains geographic information system (GIS) produced maps of Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIAs), counties, and the state as provided by the Washington State Department of Ecology.
- Global Gazetteer - Provides illuminated, topographical maps and information (including population, climate, and nearby cities and airports) on any location in the world.
- Google Earth - Combines 3D satellite imagery, maps, and Google searching to provide views and information on any world location.
- Houghton Mifflin Education Place Outline Maps - Contains basic informational maps from around the world, tailored towards the needs of Pre-K through 8th grade students.
- Japanese historical maps - Contains about 2300 early maps, 600 images of which are available online, of Japan and the world, as obtained by the University of California from the Mitsui family in 1949.
- Map Collections: 1500-2004 - Part of the American Memory Project, provides a portion of the 4.5 million items in the Geography and Map Division, focusing on Americana and Cartographic Treasures of the Library of Congress.
- National Atlas of the Unites States - Customizable layered maps of the United States provided by more than 20 Federal agencies.
- National Geographic's MapMachine: Country Profiles - Provides geographic, demographic, and economic data for 192 independent nations along with U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
- Newsbank Reference Maps (UW Restricted) - Provides access to political and topographic maps of individual countries around the world.
- The Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection - Contains 5000 images from the more than 250,000 maps in the University of Texas-Austin, covering all areas of the world
