Finding Articles
Accessing
UW restricted resourcesTo access databases from home, click on the "Off Campus Access" link in the upper right of this page and log in with your NetID BEFORE clicking on the database name.
Some databases include the full text of articles. If not, you can click on the "Check UW Holdings" button next to the article entry. If neither of these options are available, follow the instructions for How to locate the full-text of articles.

Company and Industry research
- Hoover's Online UW restricted
Detailed company information and industry profiles. Search for your company or a company in your industry. Select the appropriate company from the list and click on the name to view the profile. Use the navigation menu on the left to see related sections including Full Overview, History, Products/Operations, and SEC filings.
- To access the SEC filings: In the left navigation column, click on SEC Filings.
10-K Annual Report: If your company is a U.S. public company, under SEC Filings in the left column, there will be a link for 10-K Filings. Click on this link. In the main entry, click on Filing under the most recent 10-K Annual Report. On the next page, click on the top link for 10-K to view the entire report.
20-F Annual and Transition Report (foreign private issuer): If your company is not a U.S. company, look for the 20-F filing in the main entry list of filings. Click on Filing under the most recent 20-F Report. On the next page, click on the top link for 20-F to view the entire report.

- To access the SEC filings: In the left navigation column, click on SEC Filings.

Market data on industries in Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, UK and the US. Click on the tab for Country/Region or for Market Sector to begin browsing.
UW restricted Includes company and industry profiles and business news, magazines and journals. To access Company Profiles, in the top green navigation bar, click on Company Profiles. In the Browse For box, enter your company. In the result list, click on the Datamonitor Report link to view the PDF.

TIPS Mexican Tourism - In the navigations tabs, click on Market Sector. Select Travel and Tourism. On the results page, check the box next to MEXICAN MARKET FOR TRAVEL & TOURISM. Click on the red Selected Items button in the upper left. On the report page, use the links on the left to view sections of the report. Look for "Tourism Parameters: Incoming Tourism: Arrivals by Country/region of Origin" |
