Tired of crowding around one laptop? Find yourself doing most of the work on group projects? Tidebreak "Teamspot" is your answer to group project blues: Share the work, not your laptop. |
With Teamspot, groups can:
- Collaborate through shared desktop displayed on a large plasma screen, visible to all group members
- Easily share or move files, online materials and real-time data between computers via drag and drop
- Edit documents across computers by copying text from one computer and pasting it in on another.
Location and Reservation Info
The Teamspot Studio is located in the newly renovated collaboration area on the 1st floor of the Library near the Reference Desk.
Use of the Teamspot Studio is restricted to current students, staff, or faculty. To reserve the Teamspot Studio in UW Tacoma Library, sign up on the sheet posted near the Studio on the first floor.

- Follow these instructions to download, install, and configure the software on your own laptop. You can install the software on any
computer, but you will need to be physically in the library (so that you
can see the screen) in order to use the Teamspot server.
Checking out a Laptop in the Library
Laptops are available for a 4 hour loan period at the Circulation Desk in the library. These laptops already have the TeamSpot client downloaded.
