Classroom Equipment

Instructors and staff must check out a lockbox key to access classroom media equipment. Keys are available from Media Services in MAT 253 during our office hours:

Normal Hours
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Interim Hours
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

For training on the use of classroom media equipment, send us a Media Services Help Request and we will schedule a short 15-minute briefing in your classroom.

Classrooms are divided into four general categories. Our classroom maps show specific equipment available in each room on campus.

Smart Classrooms

are equipped with integrated technology and media equipment necessary for video and data presentations.

Presentation Classrooms

have a desktop PC integrated with a data projector, as well as a TV monitor/VCR/DVD combined wall-mounted unit.

Standard Classrooms

have TV monitor/VCR/DVD wall-mounted unit and transparency projectors.

Special Venues

are Conference Rooms, Video Conference Rooms, and Carwein Auditorium.

Additional Equipment Available for Classrooms

To request additional media equipment, faculty must submit a Media Services HELP Request Form a minimum of 24 (business) hours in advance.
