Video Conferencing

Requests

To request the use of video conferencing facilities and services at UW Tacoma, please complete the video conferencing request form. External clients need to fill out the form at least two weeks prior to the conference date.

Scheduling Priority

  1. University use: Requests for services to offer distance education courses and to conduct cross-campus business will be given top priority.
  2. External clients: Requests for services from off-campus business or agencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Rates

Charges do not apply to UWT faculty and staff. However, there may still be a charge to cover additional labor cost and long distance phone charges.

For external clients, rates are $200.00/hr for the first hour (includes administration duties and testing) and $50.00/hr for each additional hour within regular business hours.

Cancellations

If a video conference is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event, you will be charged a $100 administrative fee.

UW Tacoma has two rooms equipped for video conferencing:
