2012 MLK Unity Breakfast Dream Awards
Dream Awards for Legacy, Student and Student Organization
One of Dr. King’s greatest mandates was that individuals must not stand idly by while injustice remains. As part of our annual Unity Breakfast, we want to recognize the UW Tacoma citizens and organizations that consistently address diversity, social justice and civil rights. The awards will be given to a UW Tacoma student and student organization whose work has significantly contributed to Dr. Martin Luther King’s Dream of diversity and equality for all. We also wish to highlight the accomplishments of local and community projects. The awards will be presented at the annual MLK Unity Breakfast at UW Tacoma on Monday, January 16, 2012.
