Summit on higher education and economic development

Washington State Senators Derek Kilmer and Jim Kastama, as well as Washington State Lieutenant Governor Brad Owen, will participate in a panel discussion about the importance of higher education to economic development in the state and abroad.

The event, hosted by the Associated Students of University of Washington Tacoma, will be held on Nov. 3, in Philip Hall on the University of Washington Tacoma campus, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
