NEW THIS MONTH
Combined
Fund Drive
The
Combined Fund Drive at UW Tacoma began Oct. 2 and runs through Dec.
7. Through this drive, UW Tacoma faculty and staff can give to a
number of charitable organizations through one easy form. Last year
our CFD supported more than 100 charities and organizations, including
Community Health Care, United Way of Pierce County, the Salvation
Army and more. You can even give directly to your favorite program
at UW or UW Tacoma. To give to the Combined Fund Drive online, visit
the Giving
Station and log in with your UW NetID. UW Tacoma coordinators
are Ysabel Trinidad, Shelby Fritz and Michelle Brittany. [Ysabel

Overviews
go green
As
part of the overall UW effort towards sustainability and green practices,
UW Tacoma is now printing all of its program overviews and some
other recruiting materials on 100% post-consumer content recycled
paper that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
These paper stocks are also manufactured using wind-generated power
and have earned the Green Seal of approval.
