Marjorie Dobratz Endowment for Nursing Students

When Marjorie Dobratz announced that she was stepping down as UW Tacoma's Nursing Director, faculty and staff began working on a way to honor her nine years in that position. The UW Tacoma Nursing program proudly announces the establishment of the Marjorie Dobratz Endowment for Nursing Students.

This permanent fund honors Dr. Dobratz for inspiring students, leading faculty and staff, and embodying the spirit of nursing excellence. Additional contributions from alumni and the community assure that many future undergraduate and graduate students will benefit from the opportunity to attend professional conferences, study abroad, or pursue other activities that enhance their learning.
