This comprehensive five-day grantwriting training program is offered nationwide and is recognized as state-of-the art training by the local fundraising and non profit agencies, including the NonProfit Center and the United Way of Pierce County. The Grantsmanship Training Program is an intensive, hands-on workshop covering all aspects of:

• Program Planning
• Proposal Writing
• Researching Funders
• Developing an Evaluation Plan

During the workshop you will have access to a comprehensive package of grant databases. You will receive a free one-year membership to TGCI to continue the use of these databases and ongoing support services. Working in small groups, you will develop and present a complete grant proposal that may apply to your nonprofit agency. This training is designed for both novice and advanced grant seekers.

HOW TO APPLY

Program registration must be made directly to TGCI (not to UW Tacoma). Clicking the "Program Registration" button above will take you directly to the TGCI registration page. There you will need to complete the registration form and send it to TGCI to be pre-registered into the class. Class size is limited to 30 students, so enroll soon! Sorry, there is no UW Tacoma Alumni discount for this program.

The UW Tacoma Office of Continuing Studies will award 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 30 Contact Hours for completing this training for an additional $35 fee. This is only the registration for CEUs and contact hours, you must register at the TGCI website first before registering for CEUs and contact hours.
