Law Enforcement Executive Leadership
Non-Credit Certification Program and Workshop Series
Designed for those currently employed as executive level managers in the criminal justice field, and others interested in criminal justice or who work closely with law enforcement agencies. Those pursuing a career in law enforcement may take this certificate program to expand their knowledge, skills and abilities in the area of executive leadership. Each workshop satisfies 6 contact hours. Completion of the UW Tacoma Certificate provides 30 contact hours (3 CEUs) or 6 contact hours per workshop. Workshops may be used to satisfy part of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission’s 72 elective contact hour requirements. Others interested in Criminal Justice may want to consider the Criminal Justice Agency Administration Certificate program and workshop series.
This certificate is a 5-workshop series. You may register for individual workshops, however to receive the certificate, all 5 of the workshops must be satisfactorily completed.
Law Enforcement Memorandum of Understanding/Agreements Mutual Aid

- Standard format of a MOU and legal guidelines per Washington State RCW
