Health and Safety Committee: UW Tacoma

departmental representative, who will bring your concern to the committee. |
The UW Tacoma Health and Safety Committee is responsible for identifying and attempting to resolve occupational hazards and personal safety issues on campus. The committee meets on the second Thursday of each month.
- Online Accident Reporting System (OARS)
- Report all work-related injuries and illnesses or near miss incidents to your supervisor as soon as possible. Anyone may now enter an accident report, not just the supervisor.
- Emergency Operations Plan
- The University of Washington Tacoma Emergency Evacuation and Operations Plan has been developed to provide a coordinated campus-wide response to emergencies. This plan is designed to fit the unique qualities of the UW Tacoma campus.
- Classroom Emergency Procedures for Faculty
- This document outlines the responsibilities of faculty in the classroom in case of an emergency, and also provides
faculty with resources to carry out those responsibilities.
- Defibrillators on campus - updated February 2009

- CTPED Safety Assessment Results
