Getting Help

If you have encountered a case of misconduct, please review these pages first. Contact Student Affairs if you have questions or need further assistance.

As a student of the University of Washington, we expect that you will not only hold yourself accountable, but you will also hold others accountable to the Student Conduct Code. This can be an awkward expectation since many students are reluctant to "rat" on another student. However, we all have a responsibility to make sure that UW Tacoma is a community that we all feel proud to be a part of. Your education is valuable because your classmates and colleagues have all worked hard to give it value and honor.

Please follow the steps below if you suspect a violation of the University of Washington Student Conduct Code external Web site

  1. Complete the Student Conduct Incident Report Adobe PDF file and attach any supporting documents and evidence.
  2. Submit your materials to the Student Affairs office C/O Julie Draper.
  3. You may, at any time, consult with Julie Draper about how to proceed.

Remember that the informal hearing process may take a while. There are several sanctions that we may implement. Warning and probation may be implemented immediately while we may recommend suspension and dismissal be implemented by UW Seattle.
