Career Peer Advisers
Career Peer Advisers(CPAs) are undergraduate and graduate UWT students, representing the majority of the Academic Programs available here. CPAs are employed by the Career Development Center to assist current UWT students with certain parts of their career exploration.
Services
CPAs will orient students as they come into the Center, sign them in and help them get acquainted will all the resources and services that we provide. In addition, CPAs may hold 15- to 30-minute sessions with students in any of the following areas:
- Resume Critique
- Internship and Job Search Logistics (How to Use Search Engines)
- Scheduling Assessments and Appointments
- Husky Job Club Information and Sign Up
- Networking Tips
- Resources Assistance (How to use some of our Career Resources)
CPAs have a wealth of information and are here to help current UWT students. However, CPAs do not counsel students, and will at times point students to the Career Counselor. CPAs strongly recognize the scope of their expertise, and are always happy to schedule an appointment with the Career Counselor.
