Policies and Procedures:

• A quick overview of some university policies & procedures as well as a few notes on Student Life can be found in the Student Leader Guide .

Hosting Events:

• Please contact Shanna Kinzel if you are interested in reserving a space for your event on campus.
• If you or your organization will be using state funds to purchase food you will need to submit a Food & Beverage Form (UoW1798). Instructions are located on the form itself.
• Selling tickets to your event? First, read the Ticket Sales Procedures Guide . Then, make sure you get the requisite forms:
  
  Behavior Agreement
  Pre-Event Questionaire
  Emergency Contact Sheet
  Risk & Consent for Treatment Form

Acquiring Funds/Fundraising

• Any student entity must complete the Fundraiser Form and have it approved by the Office of Student Life before you can fundraise on campus.
• The Arts and Lectures Committee is a committee responsible for dispersing funds for a broad range of campus events. It solicits applications for funding from faculty and staff to support events such as exhibitions and lectures, concerts, and readings by outside speakers and performers. The objective of the committee is to increase public awareness of UWT and to make the campus an integral part of the intellectual life of the community.

Ombudsman

The mission of the Office of the Ombudsman is to provide the highest quality, client-focused services for preventing, managing and resolving conflict among students, staff, and faculty of this University. Through active participation in the mediation process, clients develop competencies for preventing, managing, and resolving future conflict.
