The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student led organization responsible for planning, hosting, and sponsoring a wide variety of cultural, entertainment, and social issue events during the academic year. Their goal is to make each event educational, fun and thought-provoking while encouraging communication and collaboration between students, staff, faculty, and the local community.
The main focus of the SAB is to help provide a wide range of
educational, fun and thought-provoking events while at the same time providing
a student lead resource that encourages and assists in forming a network of
communication and cooperation for event planning between the campus and local
community.
Mission Statement:
"The Event DaWgs are committed to stimulating UW Tacoma through challenging and exciting activities which promote student interactions within the campus and global communities."
