Registered Student Organizations
Registered Student Organizations (RSO's) are independent entities that are initiated and governed by students. RSO's are also commonly referred to as Student Clubs. It is Student Life's hope that students at the University of Washington Tacoma become involved with as many RSO's as academic, personal interests and schedules allow.
There are many personal benefits in joining an RSO or even starting a new one:
- Developing new abilities and leadership skills
- Working within a team of peers
- Satisfaction of setting and meeting goals
- Making new friends
- Putting on a campus-wide events or activities
- Sharing talents or interests with the UWT community
- Most importantly, HAVING FUN!
In addition, students find that the more they become involved, the more they will benefit from their overall college experience.
To the right, you will find a list of current RSO's and their contact information. If you don't see one you are interested in - start a new one!
For assistance in starting a new RSO, please contact the Student Involvement Coordinator.
