Announcements and Postings

Student Involvement can assist in getting information about your campus event out to students, faculty, and staff.

Email Announcements:
If you have information you would like to be announced via email please send it to si411@u.washington.edu e-mail link . Emails will be compiled daily. Because of many complaints from students about past compiled emails, announcements will be kept to a maximum of 5, per email, per day. Announcements will be prioritized by order of date.
Flyers and Other Postings:
Posting signage on campus requires an date stamp that Student Involvement can provide. For any postings (e.g. flyers) that you need date stamped please email them to uwtsi@u.washington.edu e-mail link . Flyers will be date stamped by our staff electronically. You may also bring printed flyers into Student Involvement in MAT 103 and have them hand-stamped.
Advertisements via Television Screens
There are several television screens across campus available for advertising event information. If you would like to advertise on these screens please follow these steps:
  1. Create a landscape oriented 8.5" x 14" document and save it as JPEG file.
  2. Be sure the advertisement isn't too busy - less is more in regards to the TV screens.
  3. Include all the pertinent info (date, time, location, contact info).
  4. Email it to uwtsi@u.washington.edu e-mail link requesting it be posted. Please be sure to include the dates you would like your advertisement posted.
  5. Please submit requests at least 2 weeks in advance.

The TV screens have the following specifications:

  • Image Size: 1366 x 708 pixels (W x H)
  • Aspect Ratio: 1.93 (W/H)
  • Cycle Time: 10 seconds
