Associated Students of the University of Washington Tacoma (ASUWT)
It is with great honor that on behalf of the Associated Students of the University of Washington Tacoma I extend a warm welcome to you to the UW and Husky family.
ASUWT is a student association that is committed to serving the students of the University of Washington Tacoma. By working with other students to address the everyday challenges that we face as students at the UW Tacoma, ASUWT works to ensure that this campus is a student friendly campus in every respect.
As a member of ASUWT, you are surrounded by other students who work to advocate and promote a wide range of issues in and around the UW, from women in computing to hip-hop dance crew. The time is never better to get involved and take responsibility for your community and education as a student. So jump on in and take part in the building process with student advocacy in ASUWT and leave your mark at the UW Tacoma.

ASUWT Mission:
We, the associated students of the University of Washington, Tacoma, in order to provide student representation, advocacy, and involvement, pledge to:
- Represent and promote student interests, needs, and welfare within the university community through committee representation and administrative level interactions;
- Provide for the expression of student opinion and interests to the community at large through community involvement;
- Assist the University in providing physical and social environments that are student centered.
