Welcome Friend,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the ASUWT website. This is a space dedicated to the University of Washington Tacoma’s student government. We have the special job of making sure that the voice of the students here at UWT is heard, and well represented to groups and organizations, inside and outside of our campus.
We strive to make sure this website provides all of the vital information about our organization to any one who wants to learn about us. This information includes governing documents, budgets, and contacts for our entire staff. Though we work hard to make this space as comprehensive as possible, it still only gives a glimpse of the type of work that we do for our students. ASUWT Mission:
We, the associated students of the University of Washington, Tacoma, in order to provide student representation, advocacy, and involvement, pledge to:
- Represent and promote student interests, needs, and welfare within the university community through committee representation and administrative level interactions;
- Provide for the expression of student opinion and interests to the community at large through community involvement;
- Assist the University in providing physical and social environments that are student centered.
