Hello, my name is John Wheeler III. I am currently a senior in the IAS Department - Majoring in Politics and Values, with a Business Minor. As co-chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee, I am actively and effectively scrutinizing local, state, and federal legislation which affects the students of UWT and their surrounding communities. The goal of LAC is to increase student awareness and promote active student involvement in local and state committee hearings. Through open forum LAC Committee meetings, I hope to gain a better understanding of what issues are of the greatest concern to the students at UWT, and voice these concerns to our local and state officials.
