Student Engagement & Student Transitions Funding Resources
Student Engagement & Student Transitions offer three funding sources for events, trainings, and conferences as provided by the Services and Activities Fee Committee (SAFC) and Enrollment Confirmation Fee Committee (ECFC). Please be sure to review all of the guidelines and fill out the appropriate forms completely, attaching any necessary documentation.
All funding requests are reviewed by a student committee. This committee meets every Friday at 12:00 Noon during the academic year. In order for your request to be considered, your request must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your event, and be submitted by 12:00 Noon on Thursday in order to be reviewed at the Friday meeting.

Campus Event Fund (CEF)
The purpose of the Campus Event Fund (CEF) is to provide funding to support activities, events, projects, and/or programs for which the primary audience is UW Tacoma students. Funds may be solicited by UW Tacoma faculty, staff, and registered student organizations. Sponsorship requests which appeal to a range of interests are encouraged.

Conference and Training Fund (CTF)
The Training & Conference Fund is a way to send students to conferences, bring in trainings/educational sessions, and offer other opportunities to students at UW Tacoma. This fund is administered through Student Engagement and funded by SAFC.

New Student Event Fund (NSEF)
The New Student Event Fund (NSEF) is a programming fund available to the campus community. Members of the campus community including students, faculty and staff, are encouraged to submit proposals to support programs that benefit new students. The programs can be academic, educational or social in nature but must support new students and/or their transition to UW Tacoma.
