Leadership

At Student Involvement, we believe everyone has the potential to be a leader. Whether that is leading a student organization, participating in community service, or actively participating in classes. Student Involvement provides ways for you to learn more about yourself and your potential as a leader at UW Tacoma.

Leadership Training Sessions:

Participate in one of Student Involvement's training sessions offered in the fall quarter.

Leadership Library:

Check out one of these books from our library on leadership! You are able to check them out for up to 4 days at a time.

Apply to the Training and Conference Fund:

Is there a regional conference you would like to attend? Or do you want to bring a leadership training session to campus? You may be eligible for funding through the Student Training and Conference Fund. Funded through the Services and Activities Fee Committee (SAFC), this fund gives opportunities for students to be trained in a variety of topics.

Please note that as of summer of 2009, the Training and Conference Fund will only finance training and conference opportunities for students, not educational speakers or lectures. If you believe your program has a training or conference component, please feel free to apply. Otherwise, funding should be requested through the Campus Event Fund.
